Dr. Sara Croteau

Dr. Sara Croteau is also a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College. Since graduation in 2006, Dr. Croteau has worked in family wellness centers in both Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts, where she has discovered that her true passion is to work with children. She specializes in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care and is working towards her advanced certification in pediatrics through the ICPA (www.icpa4kids.org). Dr. Croteau also specializes in holistic dietary treatment and she strives to offer effective natural care for patients suffering with neurodevelopmental conditions, asthma, allergies, autoimmune disease and other chronic health conditions.


Dr. Croteau works closely with doulas, midwives, pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the greatest health benefit for her patients. She prides herself in being able to meet patient’s needs and questions with her gentle, safe approach and easygoing demeanor. Dr. Croteau is a big supporter of groups and organizations that allow parents to become well informed about the healthcare options for their family. With her passion for helping families improve their quality of life, Sara is proud to be the Director of Education for the Nova Scotia Doula Association.


She enjoys education and finds that empowering her patients to take charge of their health is one of the most rewarding aspects of her job as a chiropractor. Her approach to patient care includes teaching patients to take an active role in their health by emphasizing proper ergonomics, nutrition, and incorporating stretching and light exercise into their everyday lives. She also evaluates and casts orthotics when indicated.


Dr. Croteau is available for speaking engagements for a multitude of issues ranging from natural care of ear infections to treatment of food allergies.
